Orders & Quotes

Browse the catalog, add items to your cart, and check out — that's it. We accept all major credit cards through Shopify's secure checkout. For larger orders, government bids, or volume pricing, email us a part list at proavoutpost@gmail.com and we'll respond with a quote within one business day.

Yes. We work regularly with installers, integrators, government and education buyers, and houses of worship. Email your spec list with quantities and we'll quote in volume. Project quotes typically come back within one business day.

Absolutely. Email us at proavoutpost@gmail.com with your part list, project location, and any special requirements (delivery date, residential/limited access, etc.). You'll get a written quote with itemized pricing, freight estimate, and lead time within one business day.

For verified business, government, and education customers, yes. Contact us first with your organization's details and we'll set up an account with PO terms. Standard terms are payment-on-receipt or net 30 depending on the relationship.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Shopify's PCI-compliant checkout. For verified business accounts, we also accept ACH transfers and approved POs.

Section 02

Shipping & Lead Time

Lead time is 2–11 business days from order placement on most products. Stock items typically ship faster (within 2–4 business days). Built-to-order items, custom configurations, and oversized freight items take the full window. If a specific lead time is critical to your project timeline, email us before ordering and we'll confirm availability.

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. Parcel-eligible items ship via UPS or FedEx Ground. Heavy and oversized items ship LTL freight (curbside delivery with liftgate included). Residential and limited-access locations may incur surcharges — we'll contact you before billing if anything additional applies.

Currently we ship to the continental United States only. International orders, including Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and US territories, are handled on a case-by-case basis — email us with your project details and we'll quote freight separately if it's something we can support.

Yes. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Parcel orders track in real time through UPS/FedEx. LTL freight shipments track via the carrier's system (Saia, XPO, Old Dominion, etc.) — we'll send you the carrier name and PRO number with your shipping confirmation.

Inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery, especially LTL freight. Note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing — this is critical for freight claims. Then email us at proavoutpost@gmail.com with photos within 48 hours and we'll initiate a claim with the carrier. We'll either replace the damaged item or refund you in full.

Section 03

Returns & Warranty

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on stock items in original, unopened, resalable condition. A 30% restocking fee applies to all returns unless the return is due to our error or the item arrived damaged. To start a return, email proavoutpost@gmail.com with your order number and the SKUs you'd like to return. We'll issue a return authorization (RMA) and instructions.

Items must be packaged in their original manufacturer packaging with all components, manuals, and hardware included. Returns received with missing components, damage, or signs of installation may be refused or subject to additional fees.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, damaged in transit, or defective on arrival). For defects or our errors, we'll provide a prepaid return label and waive the 30% restocking fee.

No. Built-to-order items, custom configurations, special-order finishes, and made-to-spec items are non-returnable unless the item arrives damaged or defective. If you're unsure whether an item is custom, email us before ordering and we'll confirm.

Yes. Every product sold through AV Outpost carries the full manufacturer warranty, identical to buying direct from the brand. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer (Chief mounts carry a 10-year warranty on core hardware; Middle Atlantic, C2G, and others vary). For warranty claims, email us with your order number, SKU, and a description of the issue and we'll route it to the manufacturer or handle it directly.

Tax & Billing

Yes — sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state/local rates. The tax displayed at checkout is what you'll be charged.

If your business, government agency, or non-profit is tax-exempt, email us at proavoutpost@gmail.com before placing your order with a copy of your tax-exempt certificate (resale certificate, government exemption, 501(c)(3) determination letter, etc.). We'll set up your account with tax-exempt status so all future orders ship without sales tax.

Yes. Email proavoutpost@gmail.com with your request and we'll send a current W-9 within one business day.

Section 05

Products & Support

Yes. Every product sold through AV Outpost is brand-new, authentic, factory-sealed, and sourced through legitimate manufacturer supply channels. We do not sell grey-market, refurbished, or counterfeit goods. Manufacturer warranty is preserved on every order.

Yes. We work with installers and integrators every day. Email us your project details — display sizes, mounting locations, viewing distances, throw distances for projectors, weight requirements, etc. — and we'll spec the right products for your job. Free for projects we'll be supplying.

Email us with the manufacturer SKU and we'll check our supply network. We can often source discontinued items from manufacturer remaining stock or factory-direct channels. Special-order items (custom finishes, OEM parts, foreign-market models) we'll quote individually.

Yes. All manufacturer datasheets, installation guides, dimensional drawings, and CAD/Revit files are available on request. Email us with the SKU and we'll send them within one business day. Many can also be downloaded directly from the manufacturer's website (Chief at chiefmfg.com, Middle Atlantic and Wiremold at legrandav.com, etc.).

For verified installers, integrators, and recurring B2B customers, yes. Contact us with your business details (company, role, typical order volume, project mix) and we'll set up an account with appropriate pricing tiers and payment terms.
